Fujitsu's U810 tablet PC, the mini-notebook that got it's official baptism today, combines great looks, tiny size and extensive utility in a tiny frame. If you're one of the few skipping it due to the lack of wireless WAN connectivity, however, you might like to know that a cellular modem will be built-in to a revision scheduled for the first quarter of next year, according to Fujitsu.

The first gen will be on sale from Sept. 18 at $1,000. If you can't resist, but must have WWAN, Sprint and Verizon both offer USB modems that should work on the U810--check with your carrier to make sure they offer drivers if you opt for Windows Vista.
