IphonedotsYesterday's iPhone software update might not be as dull as first it seemed. Along with the mundane but important security fixes, reports are now trickling in about new, undocumented features, both from Apple Insider and the official Apple forums. New features include:

Volume fix (many people have complained of quiet calls)

Safari stability. Previously the browser was crashing like a Mario Kart n00b, although in some cases a hard reset would fix it.

BCC option in Mail.

The passcode lock can now be set to activate after one, five, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.

SSL enabled by default on new mail accounts

At the bottom of the contacts list, the number of contacts is no longer displayed (this appears to be a bug as it doesn't show up for all users)

I don't have an iPhone to test these, so please add anything else in the comments.
