The role-playing game Persona 3 has shipped out to US retailers today, said publisher Atlus. The game had originally been slated for a July 24 release, but was suddenly delayed the day before.
Atlus said the delay was caused by a manufacturing problem with the stitch-bound art book that is included with every copy of Persona 3. At the time, a company representative said he expected that the delay would be anywhere from a few days to a week. Apparently the problems ran deeper than they expected, as one week became three.
