Nintendo will ship its Wii Fit Balance Board this holiday in Japan, allowing gamers to play a variety of fitness mini-games by shifting their center of gravity while standing on the board. But one do-it-yourselfer couldn't wait, so he built his own balance board using tennis balls and glue, slapped a Wiimote into it to register the input, and... and it's actually surprisingly effective.
