The Gravitix WaveBreaker is an inflatable electric jet-ski, which sounds like just the kind of thing that looks great on a gadget blog but which in real life would be something of a embarrassment. With a top speed of 6 MPH, it’s clearly not so much a jet-ski as it is a bob-around-with-the-swimmers-ski.
But I’m being uncharitable. At $500, it’s much cheaper than the real thing, assembles in minutes, and it can go for more than an hour on a single charge. Best of all, it only weighs 30kg, so even with the 600 watt motor, it’ll stash neatly in a car trunk for the journey home. Let the nerf-jousting begin!
