But wait...there's more! Canon courts the slim-little-silver-thingie side of the market with a slew of new pocket-friendly models. Top-of-the-line are the PowerShot SD950 and SD870 models in the ELPH line, with respective megapixel counts of 12.1 and 8. The SD950 has 3.7x zoom, a 2.5-inch LCD screen, a slick titanium body and price tag of $500. The SD870 has 3.8x zoom, 3-inch LCD screen and a black or silver lens ring, depending on your fashion sense. It's $400, also arriving next month.
Finally, we have a few new entries in the A series, mainly distinguished by their reliance on AA batteries rather than built-in rechargeables.
The A650 weighs in with 12.1-megapixel resolution, 6x zoom, manual exposure options and a price of $400. The A720 is 8 megapixels and
$250. Look for 'em next month.
