It's tough to say exactly what's going on in Ninja Town, for the DS. There are Ninjas, to be sure, and they are excruciatingly adorable, but other than that, it's a bit of mystery. What are those creatures coming out of the forest? What do they want with our ninjas? What the hell is up with the Ninja Dropping? Can't wait to find out.
Update: Mere moments after posting this, I was filled in on some details. The game is based on the Ninjatown plush series, which I clearly must own. After the eruption of a nearby volcano, Ninjatown is invaded by a gang of enemies led by Mr. Demon, and it's up to the feisty residents of N'town to fight them off. At their disposal are such ancient Ninja techniques as the Stealth Hug and the Mighty Wind of Ninja Dropping.
Excuse me. I have a preorder to place.
