
It's hard to imagine something worse what today's first horror story, but here goes. Cult of Mac reader Jonathan's alleged adventures trying to get an iMac fixed by Apple New Zealand sound like something from a cruel and vicious sitcom.
By day 8, yet another call results in a final promise the thing would be fixed that day — but he has to wait for a replacement Mighty Mouse. No, he cannot have his old mouse back in the meantime. It's now another week later, and still Apple won't let him have his computer back: all because they found a minor flaw after a week of "tests" when he took his computer in to have the DVD drive replaced.
