If you have applied for your $100 iPhone rebate, you've already seen the picture above, which shows you how to find the iPhone's serial number. What you may not have noticed is that the phones in the pictures are running the as yet unreleased iPhone firmware v1.1.1.
The middle shot shows two new preferences, one for the home button and one for international. Speculation on the Howard Forums, where eagle eyed member Jaysun spotted this teaser, says that the iPhone might be getting some iPod Touch features, specifically the double-tap on the home button which brings up the on-screen controls.
More important for those of you who are paranoid about leaving the country for fear of a huge roaming bill, the new "International" tab might offer some way to switch off data. As of now, it's speculation, which we'll happily add to. I vote for Copy and Paste, and possibly something that will break the unlocking hacks.
