SeedsSeeds, the indie dev studio formed by three ex-Capcom superstars, will merge with Japanese company ODD to become Platinum Games, the companies announced this week.

The original company was formed by Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil), Hideki Kamiya (Devil May Cry), and Atsushi Inaba (Okami) earlier this year. And they haven't been heard from since.

Meanwhile, ODD doesn't seem to have a web presence, and there's no information about them on the web. But one NeoGAF sleuth dug up a photo of former Capcom game designer Tatsuya Minami from last year's E3 on Kojima Productions' blog, and he's credited as being from ODD. Or perhaps he is ODD. That would all seem to fit.
