FlipStart's $150 Snap Camera affixes to the tiny subnotebook's lid, providing a correspondingly small and high-powered camera for mobile picture-takers. Though the 3-megapixel, fixed-zoom device can't compete with even the cheapest standalones, it's much smaller than the smallest standard digicams and can record video and audio at 30 frames per second.
To whom is this useful? Bloggers like myself, of course, who can now mount Flipstarts onto surgically-attached TV trays and wander around conference halls ,without having to stop the logorrhea for *even a second *while we download photos.
