The Deptford Design Market Challenge in London challenged entrants to transform stuff found in thrift stores into new, useful items "to inspire and encourage designers to think about re-using what isavailable before creating an entirely new product from scratch."
One of the more intriguing results was this guitar modded with a 2.1 speaker system and an iPod dock. Hopefully, this will give bassists something to do with the guitars they once tried to play.
