The Wii situation just keeps getting better and better. The latest? Sega's cult classic maracas-shaking rhythm game Samba De Amigo will be headed to Nintendo's console.
Although the Sega Dreamcast versions of the game used a big, expensive controller with plastic maracas that you shook to the beat of Latin hits like Livin' La Vida Loca and Mas Que Nada, the Wii version should do just fine with the standard controller.
I'm just shocked it took them this long. The only thing that's a bit weird about this announcement is that the game will be developed by Brothers In Arms maker Gearbox Software. I guess it's fitting, as Sonic Team has already taken their turn making shooters. Hopefully this comes out better than Shadow the Hedgehog.
