Ubisoft has snagged the rights to the sure-to-be weird No More Heroes, and will be releasing it in North America this February. No More Heroes is is directed by Suda 51, who also brought us the love-it-or-hate-it Killer 7 for the GameCube. I personally fall into that first category, despite the fact that it's practically unintelligible.

No More Heroes shares Killer 7's gorgeous cel shaded look, but thankfully takes the gameplay off rails, letting you explore the open world environment of Santa Destroy. No More Heroes is also very, very bloody, which is part of the reason why Ubisoft wanted it. Says Ubisoft VP of marketing Tony Key:

Ubisoft is bringing the title to the North American market because we believe there is a viable market for mature games on the Wii platform - an audience that has been underserved up to now.
