According to a post in Unreal Tournament 3's official forums, the game may not make its scheduled November release for PC and PS3. The discussion in the thread was trying to nail down exactly when the demo and game would be released, eventually prompting Epic's Mark Rein to say:

We do not know exactly when the game will be completed. All we've said is that we're hoping for a November release but as you know we value getting it right over getting it right now so there's no guarantee of that.

Bit of a bummer, but not entirely unexpected, either. Anyway, better late than crappy, right?
