Demos featuring two very different kinds of heroes have arrived on Xbox Live. If you favor blood and brutality, the Conan demo should feed your appetite. Or maybe just whet it; it's only about 15 minutes long, though that should be enough to give you a taste of combat a la Conan. Lamentations of the women not included.
For a kinder, gentler (or at least rounder) sort of hero, join Homer in his fight against wave after wave of miniature Krusty dolls in the demo for The Simpsons Game. Sounds terrifying, but fear not--Bart will be there to help you. Now we just need a Conan/Simpsons crossover title.
