Most of all, however, I want to know what it feels like to own a iPhone that isn’t the iPhone. Does a note of existential distress chime out whenever you see that strange purple Linksys iPhone logo? Do you derive pleasure from using something that, however briefly, delivered a big kick in the balls to Apple’s branding efforts? Or is there no reaction at all, because they’re just phones and it doesn’t matter?
