
MTV spent some time with the one-of-a-kind talent Uwe Boll and asked him just how he decides what game properties to commit to film, and which to avoid. It's not enough that the game be good, he explains, it must also have an interesting character, like BloodRayne, Alone in the Dark's Edward Carnby, or Far Cry's Jack Carver. The lack of a compelling character, Boll, explains, is why Halo wouldn't make a good movie:
Um....yeah. Moving on, Boll also said if he had the chance, he'd enjoy the opportunity to make movie versions of World of Warcraft and Metal Gear Solid. He also would've loved to have made Silent Hill, which he considers the best videogame movie to date.
