This fake "award" mill is akin to doctoral degrees that creationists order from trailer park seminaries, or to the seals of approval that multi-level marketing pyramids slap on the junk they don't actually sell. It's an unethical marketing backslap to help shovel second-tier products at unsophisticated consumers.
Bought-and-paid for and empty of meaning, previous awards include one for the Atom Chip laptop, which has a 6.8 GHz CPU and terabytes of RAM. Do you think the "panel of independent industrial engineers" that rubber-stamp these applications took much of a look at that one?
Amazing how it never comes to market.
