Sony has confirmed that the DualShock 3 will rumble with all PS2 games that support rumble and are compatible with the PS3. During a hands-on with the controller last week, Eurogamer noticed that the PS2 support was lacking, but the 2.0 Firmware update seems to have solved that issue.
Pity that the DualShock 3 isn't due for release in the US and Europe until next Spring (boo, hiss). If you don't really care about backwards compatibility--or have a 40GB PS3--PS3 titles that support the DualShock 3 include Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, MotorStorm, and Resistance: Fall of Man.
