
After months of waiting, it's out. Go get your localized version of Firefox 3 Beta 1 milestone, which is available now in over 20 languages from Mozilla. We'll have a full review up on Wired News in about an hour, but for now, we've got a rundown of some new features:
- Performance improvements for page rendering, 300+ memory leak fixes.
- Better presentation of a website's true identity, better malware protection, stricter SSL error pages.
- Better download management, including search, download resume and anti-virus built into the downloads window.
- UI improvements such as full page zoom and an animated tab strip.
- Places: typing anything into the URL bar searches history and bookmarks for page titles. One-click bookmarking and easier management.
- New graphics and font rendering, better CSS positioning support.
- A new color profile manager.
- Support for offline web applications.
