Rock Band isn't out until November 20, but final copies of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game have been popping up on Wal-Mart shelves as the stores receive them. One entrepreneur snagged one and has it up on eBay, with pictures of his cat on it just so you know it's really his.
Then again, a Harmonix employee says on the company's forum that these are demo units intended to be set up in the stores, not sold, and that they may not contain kick pedals or microphones, and the software itself might be crippled. Somehow I still think this package will go for a nutso amount of money.
