Telltale Games continues to defy everyone's expectations and churn out episodic content at a prodigious rate. Sam and Max enters its second "season" today with the launch on GameTap of "Ice Station Santa." Luckily for everyone who does not have GameTap, the episode will be available as a standalone download to everyone in the world tomorrow from Telltale's web site.
Four more episodes will arrive at the rate of one per month, starting in January.
I should also remind you that the fourth episode of last season, titled "Abe Lincoln Must Die," has been released as a free download and that it is an excellent way to get into Sam and Max if you're hesitant to pony up the nine bucks that an episode usually costs. (Figure about three to four hours of gameplay per episode, and lots of laughs besides.)
