The New Politics Institute held an event last Wednesday about how to use social networks to further progressive politics.

John Hlinko, President and CEO of the Grassroots Enterprise
Cheryl Contee, vice president at Fleischman Hillard, San Francisco. She’s worked with Amnesty International and the American Civil Liberties Union to use social networks to rally supporters.
Ben Rattray, Founder and CEO, of Change.org, "an up-and-coming smaller social networking website dedicated exclusively to serving social and political groups"
