Continuing its push towards being a real serious grown-up videogame publisher, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced today that they will acquire TT Games, which includes Traveller's Tales, best known as the developer of the* Lego Star Wars* games.
The two companies announced in March that TT would develop Lego Batman games for Warner. TT Games has the worldwide rights to develop Lego games.
Warner said that TT Games would continue its relationship with LucasArts, who will also publish an upcoming Lego Indiana Jones game.
If I were LucasArts, would I be happy that Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. allow their wholly owned subsidiary developers to create games for me, or kind of hurt that they don't consider me a competitor?
