We thought the first clips of Rat Race, the episodic comedy adventure game coming to the PS3, were painfully unfunny, and it seems that we weren't the only ones. The game's head writer, Victor Varnado, admitted to MTV that the videos were pretty lousy, saying, "That isn't our best foot forward."

According to Varnado, the clips that ran on GameTrailers weren't actually meant to be released:

Here's what really happened. Some of the stuff that was leaked onto GameTrailers was some of the stuff meant for internal use, not something that was a finished product that would go out. We'll make sure that what we put out next is something we've gone over and that we're proud of.
