YouTube is finally ready to share more of the Google wealth by opening its Partner Program to any and all content creators. Joining the ranks of other video-sharing sites that already pay out contributors, anyone with a decent fan base can apply to be part of the expanded revenue-sharing program.
Current content partners include the likes of online superstars Perez Hilton, Blame Society Films (aka Chad Vader) and Val's Art Diary -- but don't let the heavyweight rollcall deter or intimidate you. What criteria listed is vague ("You Live in the US or Canada") and doesn't pin down exactly how many viewers/subscribers one needs to qualify.
For that matter, it also doesn't specify what percentage of the cut you'll be raking in either, but who cares, right? A virtual golden ticket awaits! Apply now for the chance to milk the cash cow and make YouTube show you the money!
