Another genre movie sunk its canines into the dust this week as the Writers Guild of America strike indefinitely buried Castlevania. The original script by Paul W.S. Anderson for the video game spin-off needs work, and all of the writers are asleep in their coffins until the the WGA reaches an agreement.

Meanwhile, LA-based theatre company iO West is spreading a plot to end the writers strike by threatening advertisers with a boycott of consumer products until the shows those advertisers sponsor give their writers a fair deal.
