Yahoo published a report on the "Top Trends In Search 2007" and boy, Google sure didn't make it to the list!

The report, which includes rankings of the most searched words for various topics, are likely edited, sanitized and scrubbed -- most people probably spend the bulk of their time online searching for lesbians, sex, Paris Hilton or MP3s.

We were still amused, though, that Google didn't make Yahoo's list of top technology terms. (YouTube did make the cut, however).

The top searched technology terms were, according to Yahoo, YouTube, Wikipedia, Facebook, iTunes, iPod, iPhone, Nintendo Wii, Xbox, Sony PlayStation 3 and Guitar Hero.

Google will release its own report on the Fastest-Rising Search Terms for 2007 on Tuesday. Our suspicion is that Yahoo's not going to get a mention. That's just our hunch, though.
