Despite being a fan of the series, The Escapist‘s Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw was underwhelmed and disappointed by Silent Hill: Origins for the PSP, finding fault with just about everything except perhaps the game’s title. Having played Origins, I’ll vouch for his complaints about the combat (it’s drek), but I thought it pulled off the franchise’s trademark atmosphere quite well. I do agree, however, that Silent Hill 2 is the best of the bunch, by far.
