Continuing its recent streak of momentum-building contracts with various online gaming publishers, Live Gamer has just announced an agreement signed with InstantAction.com to bring virtual item sales to the site's numerous action-based browser titles.

Normally this news wouldn't warrant a second look, but InstantAction is the home of the upcoming (and amazing looking) Tribes-clone Fallen Empire Legions.

After the uproar caused by minor gameplay changes in* Tribes 2*, I can't imagine the series' fanbase will allow for the addition of virtual item sales into Tribes' spiritual successor without a huge outcry. It's not like they have a choice in the matter, but that's never stopped the deluge of forum posts and angry e-mails before.
