StyleTap software lets you run Palm OS applications on a Windows Mobile device. Below is a video of the company's proof-of-concept demo for the iPhone (seen here running on the iPod Touch). The question is, Why?
Why take a clunky, outdated user interface and port it to a machine with possibly the best, easiest to use mobile interface ever? The classic answer: Because they can. The developers make it very clear that this is not a future product in the making, but "just an experimental prototype to see what is possible".
It looks like the experiment was a success. It also shows just how old fashioned the Palm looks next to today's tech.
