Not since the prancing military robot BigDog have we seen something so very creepy. This video of the Japanese dental fembot Simroid is guaranteed to make your non-silicone skin crawl.

Simroid (also known as "Pain Girl") is a teaching aid for dental students. With all the cheek-stretching and mouth close-ups in this Japanese TV show, though, we suspect that the robot might find a slightly wider market amongst socially inept men.
