Google missed a deadline on Friday to cough up plans for a new hotel and convention center in Mountain View, according to the Palo Alto Daily News.
The company, which reportedly signed a 55-year agreement to lease the northern 9.2 acres of an 18,6-acre city-owned parcel, was granted a two-month extension to submit its plans to the city.
The hotel/convention center would be located somewhere around Shoreline Boulevard and Charleston Road.
Google already leases 900,000 square-feet of city-owned land for $3.8 million a year, according to the report.
