Will the sweding never stop?
The process, made popular in director Michel Gondry’s Be Kind Rewind, involves amateur filmmakers creating their own home-brew homages to classic flicks.
For the most recent sweded creation to catch fire on YouTube, architecture student Chris Parrott and some friends used a beer keg, Kentucky Fried Chicken buckets and, oh yes, lots and lots of cardboard to create "Star Wars (Sweded): A Cardboard Hope."
Parrott posted a photo gallery of low-budget props and design sketches to offer a little insight into how he and his crew made their version of George Lucas’ space opera. The beer keg R2-D2 is particularly sweet. (Or maybe swede.)
