The Homade MP3 i-Player doesn't look particularly home-made, but gets high marks for a whimsical, lego-style design that's sure to land Brando in trouble with Lego's legal eagles if it achieves any degree of popularity.
The brick-shaped player accepts microSD cards in capacities up to 2GB (card not included in the $45 price) and plays MP3s and WMA files loaded from a Windows PC. It includes a built-in rechargeable battery, USB cord and carrying lanyard, and comes in five colors (primary, white and green).
The player appears to be about the size of an actual Lego: **
Five of the nubby thing on the top of the lego function as buttons forvolume, play/pause, fast-forward and rewind and there's room for a USB
connector, lanyard connector and headphone jack on one end of thebrick (the microSD card slot sits at the other end):
The Brando Homade MP3 i-Player ($45) can be shipped anywhere in the world for $3.
