(((Nice piece of conceptual gadget work here. Its so well-executed that it's more than a little surprising that supposed designer "Erik De Nijs" has left no visible trace on the Internet. Except for this original Yankodesign entry, there are no visible links to any independent source of data about "Erik De Nijs" and his "Beauty and the Geek" trousers.)))
(((Erik may be a particularly reclusive young Dutch design student – (that intervention has got a very Dutch-design feel to it) – but if so, Erik is surprisingly skilled at creating fabric mockups, and his photographer's not half shabby either. It may well be that "Erik De Nijs" doesn't exist – any more than these pants actually exist.)))
(((Which raises the question of why someone wants to create an intervention like this while using a pseudonym.)))
