To herald the release of Metal Gear Solid 4, Konami has announced a special limited-edition bundle for the game containing a "Gun Metal Gray" PlayStation 3 system, matching DualShock 3 controller and a copy of the game.
The bundle (which is a separate release from the previously revealed 80GB, standard color Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle) will be sold exclusively through Konami's website for $600. The site will begin accepting pre-orders on May 19.
Sadly, aside from a unique, if drab, color and a DualShock 3, the system fails to offer anything you couldn't acquire by purchasing a PlayStation 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4 separately. Is a tangible reminder of your devotion to fictional characters worth the additional $140?
