It may not be the cognitive leap that the Wiimote demanded, but as this first footage of gameplay from Tom Clancy’s EndWar shows, controlling a gritty combat title with your voice is going to take a bit of getting used to.
Don’t get me wrong: this footage, taken from Ubisoft’s Ubidays event, looks great and the game performs as Ubisoft intends it to, but there’s just something so unintuitive about ordering soldiers around with a headset microphone.
I guess it says something antisocial about me that I’m more willing to engage the world via joystick and button presses than with the physical tools humanity evolved over millions of years, hm?
