Even though Square Enix’s PSP fighting game Dissidia Final Fantasy is said to be only halfway done so far, a new trailer and slew of screenshots indicate that it’s still on track for a 2008 release.
The trailer was released through Square Enix’s Members site, and although it doesn’t reveal any new characters, it’s certainly pretty to watch. The game looks to be pushing the PSP’s resources to the max.
The end of the trailer also confirms that the game will be coming out in 2008, but remember, that’s only in Japan.
Things are certainly looking better and better for PSP owners. I’m personally really excited to play some Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, which I just ordered in order to play during some upcoming long-haul flights.
