Rock Band is about to be big in Japan.
Harmonix announced this morning that they will team up with Q Entertainment, the creators of* Rez HD* and Lumines, to produce a version of the popular music game crafted specifically for the Japanese market.

Calling the game "the first US-originated rock music game to be heavily localized for the Japanese market," Harmonix said in a statement today that the game would feature Japanese musical acts and other Japan-styled trimmings for its, quote, "return to the birthplace of rhythm games."
The companies have not yet revealed any further details on the game or its release date.
