Spoiler alert: For fans somehow managing to avoid any coverage of the upcoming season-ending episodes of Doctor Who, don’t read this or watch the embedded video. (But, seriously, how are you managing that?)
The planet’s greatest heroes are assembling around Doctor Who — Earth’s greatest defender. They stand shoulder-to-shoulder to fend off the advancing invasion by Davros and his new Dalek army.
As the alien fleet looms over Earth and 6 billion humans look to Capt. Jack Harkness, Martha Jones, Sarah Jane Smith and their assembled crews for salvation, our mighty adventurers respond by hugging, kissing, crying and (presumably) wetting themselves. Thank you, Russell T. Davies.
The BBC’s Doctor Who site locks out viewers outside the United Kingdom due to licensing-fee issues, so we have to turn to YouTube for this special preview scene from this weekend’s The Stolen Earth. While compelling and urgent, the clip leaves this reporter wanting to "Patton slap" The Doctor’s supporting case while politely urging them to do something about the end of humanity when they’re done sniveling.
I think it’s safe to assume they all pull it together in time.
