The first teaser for Blood Bowl, a game almost certainly destined for cult favorite status, has finally landed.
Blood Bowl is based on a board game of the same name that pits Warhammer lookalikes against one another in a hyper violent sporting contest that resembles American football, only with more decapitations, explosions and evisceration.
If the premise sounds familiar, it should. Not only is Blood Bowl a board game, it has also been the inspiration for a number of similar games over the years, of which Electronic Arts’ dormant Mutant League series was the most successful.
Blood Bowl is scheduled for a fourth quarter release on the Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
