Thank you, Guillermo del Toro and Hellboy II. I really enjoyed that. Good summer movie. A lot of fun.
Now, scram, lumpy. You had a big weekend party, but it's time for The Dark Knight to shine. Our senses are under assault by a creeping barrage of Batman news, videos, rumors and Oscar buzz. So, with $130 million waiting just a few days from Warner Bros.' grasp, as The Joker would say, "Here ... we ... go!"
First, the official Dark Knight website is occasionally hacked by The Joker and was in stitches all weekend. Stay tuned online to see what gags he'll pull this week. When the Clown Prince of Crime isn't raising havoc, Warner Bros. is updating and expanding the site daily as Friday's midnight premiere approaches.
MTV.com is promoting Dark Knight with fresh coverage every day until they crack open the IMAX cans. Because MTV buddied up to Warner Bros. (something of strange bedfellows as MTV is owned by Viacom and not Time Warner), the music network has a thorough, official and legal collection of Dark Knight clips up 24/7.
The footage included herein was shown at Wizard World convention audience a full year ago, but many of the moments and images in the extended sneak have been buried to avoid spoilers. The video's YouTube anchor site (BatmanYTB) assembled a thorough collection of trailers, TV spots and other preview videos – including this extended trailer via Domino's Pizza.
We'll keep sending updates from Gotham City as they arrive.
