On July 7, Bungie is releasing a new, free of charge multiplayer map dubbed "Cold Storage" for fans of the firm's Halo 3.
A pack of gamer pics as well as a dashboard theme will also be made available for free, and the game's Legendary Map Pack will see a price drop. Previously available for $10 from the Xbox Live Marketplace, the Pack will now retail for $7.50.
All of this extra content is being released to celebrate "Bungie Day," a makeshift holiday created by fans in reaction to the significance of the number 7 in Bungie's titles. July 7 (07/07/08) is the second celebration of the manufactured fête*.*
