From looking at this first video of Nintendo's recently-announced Wii title Captain Rainbow, I think we can be pretty sure that the creators of Chibi-Robo are back.
I mean, the game looks exactly like their previous works. It's got the nonsense-syllable voiceovers that the company is famous for (famous among fans of obscure Japanese games, anyway). Yeah, it's Skip. But it's also starring a bunch of obscure characters from forgotten Nintendo titles. Like Birdo. Kevin Gifford, over at 1up, points out that the old man from the NES version of *Golf *and a girl from Shin Onigashima are in there, too.
My only fear is that this is one of the games that the new all-casual-all-the-time Nintendo of America might determine is too Japanese and awesome for a Western audience to handle.
