The Boy Genius Report has gotten its hands on an iPhone 3G and put together a little unboxing video. There’s not much to see, as the phone hasn’t yet been activated, but what the video lacks in substance it makes up for with annoying music and 1990s-style jump cuts.
Two things: From the angle, it a little hard to tell the depth of the box, but it looks shallower than the photos Danny posted yesterday. That could be because the Euro-style power plug is bigger, but different sized boxes seem unlikely. Second, it’s nice to see that the new iPhone is actually slimmer, and not just optically slimmer due to those curved edges. After using an iPod Touch for so long, the first gen iPhone looks decidedly clunky.
