Looks like Batman's back on the right side of the law.
Christian Bale, who plays the caped crusader in the box office smash The Dark Knight, won't be charged for an alleged assault on his mother and sister, according to British authorities.
Bale denied the allegation but had no comment on the matter, according to the Associated Press:
"It’s a deeply personal matter," Bale said when asked about the incident during a Spanish press conference for the film last month. "I would ask you to respect my privacy in the matter."
Details about the alleged assault remain scarce, with tabloid reports saying the incident revolved around money squabbles or insults aimed at Bale's wife, Sandra (Sibi) Blazic.
