Over the last two weeks, sales of the Xbox 360 in the United Kingdom have skyrocketed, beating the PlayStation 3 by a 2:1 ratio, if you believe Microsoft's official claims.
The sudden surge in sales is no doubt directly linked to the price drop the Xbox 360 saw only two weeks back, bringing the relative pricing scheme for the console more in line with the discounted prices Microsoft has been offering American gamers.
Despite offering figures from analyst firm Chart Track, that showed a recent 214 percent sales boost in the U.K., Microsoft refused to explicitly detail exactly how many units the console has actually moved.
Correction: Chart Track only tracks sales information for the United Kingdom, not for the whole of Europe. We apologize for any confusion.
