Update: EA was kind enough to send over a much nicer looking version of the trailer.
It’s only been two months since I first saw this trailer at Electronic Arts’ bombastic presentation during E3, but I’d completely forgotten how charming Sim Animals seems to be.
To shamelessly quote my original coverage of the title, Sim Animals "takes the principles of the more traditional Sims games — interconnected social dynamics, needs-based gameplay objectives and free form creative design — and applies them directly to cuddly animals."
Barring any huge delays, Electronic Arts plans to release the game for the Wii and DS at the beginning of 2009.
